Through low energy Bluetooth technology, the app recieves the data from the implant. the app then uses that data to calculate insulin dosages, monitor blood glucose trends, and compiles it to be sent to doctors or parents. Parents can also enable push notifications when their child's levels reach a certian point. insulin dosages can be calculated with a click of a button, but can also be calculated and delivered automatically. In an emergency (emergency levels set by user), emergency contacts will be contacted automatically. 

 

Along with the technology part, there is a community aspect as well. With a click of a button, you can ask the doctors that are there 24-7 any questions you may have about your health. You can chat with other people based on your age and interests, as well as attend a diabeTECH meetup locally.
